In order to give back to the Theatre Community, Stage One has been sponsoring the “Outstanding Production of a Play in the Small Theatre Category” for decades.
BC Technology for Learning Society
After 4 years Stage One replaces their computers and this registered charity accepts donations of used computers and other tech devices. Youth on Work Experience placements are hired to refurbish the computers for distribution back to BC-based non-profits, schools and low-income individuals.
Kiva
Stage One gives microloans to underprivileged entrepreneurs through KIVA, allowing them to develop an income stream to improve their living conditions.
